Bucklands is an ideal venue to host mini conferences, corporate getaways, corporate rewards, teambuilding and strategic planning sessions for small groups of executives (up to 16 comfortably).
Bucklands has had the pleasure and success of co-hosting the VW Amarok Single Cab launch together with ECPTA well as a SEESA Corporate Getaway and a Rhodes Environmental Department outing with great success! We cater for overnight stays as well as day conferences.
Bucklands Luxury Tented Camp and Bucklands Lodge are ideally situated close to one another and both camps are used together for larger conferencing bookings. Both lodges are fully licenced and a maximum of 16 guests sharing rooms or 8 single rooms can be accommodated (we can accommodate a few more guests, if required). Game drives, game walks, quad biking, viewing rock art, fishing, swimming in the river rapids, star gazing and Teambuilding Exercises are among the list of activities available at Bucklands.
Bucklands is a small and intimate venue and thus allows us to be very flexible when it comes to catering for your specific needs and is able to work around a personalised itinerary and competitive pricing.
Bucklands is fully equipped for conferencing/meetings in our library or dining room with projection equipment, whiteboards, flipcharts, phone, fax and limited internet connectivity.
We love to spoil our guests with homemade treats to accompany your tea and coffee, and you can relax at the end of the day with a sun downer followed by hearty country cooking in either our boma or dining rooms (all special dietary requirements can be catered for). Brunch is a sumptuous affair catering for all tastes. Our bar, “The Crash” is situated at our Bucklands Lodge and is fully licenced and comes complete with a flat screen television essential for sporting matches or for catching up on the daily news.
